Supporting your journey to retirement.
We want you to feel confident and informed about your options. On this page you can read about where you can find advice about your retirement options.
Independent financial advice
The Trustee, Company and their advisers are unable to offer you financial advice. However, the London Stock Exchange Group has appointed a firm of independent financial advisers, WPS Advisory, who members may be able to go to before drawing a pension, for help with their retirement planning. The Company may, at its discretion pay for you to receive up to two separate sessions of advice from WPS Advisory.
Find out about WPS Advisory, what they do and if and how they can help by watching these short videos which cover:
- Why is it important to have a plan?
- What is an informed decision?
- What types of pensions are there?
- What is income drawdown?
Please note that the WPS Advisory videos are not provided or run by the Trustee and the Trustee is not in any way responsible for any advice that WPS Advisory may give to you. If this is available to you, the Trustee and the Company are just facilitating possible access to advice from WPS Advisory and not recommending any particular course of action – the choice of whether to obtain advice, and if so who from, is solely your choice. If you are eligible for this service and you decide to use WPS Advisory, any legal relationship will be solely between you and WPS Advisory.
If you are eligible to receive advice from WPS Advisory which has been paid for by the Company and you wish do so, you will need to provide your written consent to us to share your data with WPS Advisory. See this leaflet which explains more about data sharing and how to share your data with WPS Advisory. Once we have shared your data with WPS Advisory, you will then receive a welcome letter from WPS Advisory and will be able to book your advice session which will be paid for by the Company.
Independent IFAs
You do not have to go to WPS Advisory for advice. You can also find an independent financial adviser in your area at either MoneyHelper OR A full list of regulated advisers is available on the FCA’s register.
